Frequently asked questions
Is the CV maker free?
Yes, it is completely free. You can build your CV without an account; to download the PDF and use AI you sign in to a free Based.Az account.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser. When you press "Build with AI" or "Check as HR", the text is sent once to the AI and is not stored by us. To continue on another device, use "Save to file" and then "Open file" there.
How do I save my CV as a PDF?
Click "Download PDF" and choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog. Set margins to none and enable background graphics.
What is the difference between a CV and a résumé?
In Europe and Azerbaijan, "CV" usually means the one-to-two-page document you send with a job application. In the US, that document is called a résumé. This tool works for both.
Can I write my CV in another language?
Yes. The "CV language" option switches the section headings; you write the content in that language yourself.
